An existing mid 19th century house is brought into re-use as a family house.
Access to garden level is opened up with a new flight of stairs and a landing to kitchen and garden. A terrace extends from the study along a concrete wall to a rainwater trough collecting roof water for the garden. At the end of the garden additional family space is added as a sweet chestnut clad loft over the reformed shell of the garage.
